Who we see from where
Most of our patients come from greater Portland and Cumberland County. Follow-ups by telehealth mean the drive only has to work once.
Our clinic is on Gorham Road in South Portland, a few minutes from the Maine Mall and from I-295.
Straightforward drive along Route 1 or the Maine Turnpike spur.
Easy access from the greater Portland ring.
Roughly twenty to thirty minutes south.
Under half an hour from most of the county.
Follow-up visits are routinely done by video, so distance from South Portland does not have to decide whether you can do this.
You do not have to drive here every time
A taper needs frequent contact — every one to four weeks, sometimes weekly at the harder stages. Requiring an in-person visit each time would put the program out of reach for most of the people who need it.
So follow-up visits are routinely done by video, with in-person appointments available whenever you would rather come in. Whether your first visit can be done remotely depends on your medication and on where you are — ask us when you get in touch.
